Ok everyone,
The time is finally here! The brand new 16 song CD by Mary Carves The Chicken titled “Love & Respect” is available now for download purchases. Now, we would love to give all our friends and family free copies but that’s not possible. We’ve spent a lot of hours away from our families, not to mention a ton of cash for studio time, mixing, mastering, and all the in-betweens. This has been MCTC’s biggest project to date and a labor of love for Bob, Page, & David. We are extremely proud of the work we have done on it as well as the hard work that Samur at Mad Dog Studios and Pete at Universal Mastering have done to give you the best CD we could possibly give you. We have spent the better part of 4 years writing these tunes. Together, the three of us have rehearsed, arranged, changed, and added our own style and talent to make each song on this CD a little bit of ourselves.
So where can you get the CD? You can get the CD at Itunes, Napster, Rhapsody, MusicNet, eMusic, or Sony Connect.
For the old fashioned folks who like a physical CD, be patient. They should be availiable in about a month or so.
Please go to one of these sites and have a listen to what we’ve been talking about the past year or so. You won’t be disappointed. And if you like what you hear, please, please, please tell your friends and family and tell them to tell their friends and family and so on and so on.
We hope you enjoy it.
Much love, David, Page & Bob
FINALLY! Woot!(that was for Bob)
Woot? Do I even want to know what “Woot” means? Is that sort of like, Whaa Hoo? Or Yee Haw! Or Hell Yeah!
Well Dave, it seems “Woot” is now part of the vernacular. I doubted my wife when she claimed it was a real word (which, loosely translated, means “yea!”). But by the end of summer school, one of my students had graffittied my door frame with the phrase, “Woot woot!” So I think it’s official now. Never doubt a wife.
